Beyond The Stars & Breakout Dance Competition are the fastest growing and most energetic dance competitions in the industry. Collectively, we host over 90 regional dance competitions, 4 summer national finals and 8 fall dance conventions per year. We are also proud to have an in-house production company and to produce all of our own merchandise and awards. We employ a team of event producers, videographers, photographers, young professionals, dancers and sales associates to deliver consistently high-quality events. We are known as the competitions with the friendliest team members in the business. We aim to produce world-class events for studio directors, dancers and their families.

The ideal candidates will be team players who are dedicated to teaching dancers of varying ages and skill levels.

Prospective candidates seeking to join our distinguished panel of judges will undergo a comprehensive pre-screening procedure which includes the submission of a professional headshot and resume, thoughtful responses to three in-depth questions, interviewing, critiquing and scoring multiple genres of dance, completing our online Judge Training program, and

Backstage managers are responsible for coordinating all aspects of the backstage area; they must build a relationship with all event attendees by being fair, organized and fun and communicate the order of the show to all team members. When coordinating awards, they are responsible for ensuring that the awards ceremony runs smoothly by having all the necessary awards ready. This includes preparing all trophies, medals, plaques, etc. throughout the session. Both backstage managers work together and should assist with all aspects of the backstage area and should try to have as much attendee interaction as time allows.

Video Shooters are responsible for shooting every dance and providing a quality video that includes everyone on stage throughout all routines. Additional responsibilities include, lobby TV setup, ensuring that the judge’s video critiques are being recorded and saved, logging and capturing all routines correctly and working with the photographer to ensure livestream is set up and streaming correctly.
